Traveling for meetings does indeed suck. Missing shuttles and losing things bugs me, too.... injuring oneself isn't fun either.

I slept through the first wake up call, so had to rush to get to the shuttle on time. Perhaps brushing my teeth and trying to put on my underwear at the same time wasn't the smartest idea though. I got my right leg through the hole just fine. But I just barely missed with my left foot and stumbled. I should have dropped my toothbrush, but instead I tried to catch myself just with my left hand. The underwear flew off my right leg like a rubber band. In slow motion I watched it head for the toilet. Perfect swish. As my toe slammed into the base of the toilet (pain!!), my finger smashed into the lever. My toe was on fire. My finger throbbed. And my underwear wisked down the drain. The shuttle seemed so unimportant. I sat and cried for what seemed like forever, until finally I decided going commando would be quite cool!
