I have been thinking about laying off the leg extensions too. Not only do they stress the knee, but the muscle development is more specifically the quad cap near the knee, and I think mine is big enough. It's crazy though, I'm up to 140lbs for 10 reps and it's not even my limit...I've just been holding off cuz I don't think it's good for my knees.

I tried that "natural ham glute" exercise just now w/ K. Holy shit do I have weak hams. I wasn't even close to doing one. Now I have a goal :) I bet it will help with my running too.
