flexagonI'm scheduled for a "relaxing facial" at Candela. They know I'm getting married the next day and so they aren't planning to exfoliate me, but they can do all the massagey stuff and do various other things to make me glow, or so they claim. What this really is, is that I'm spending a buttload of money so that, in the belief & hope that an expert will squeeze my face on Friday, I will not squeeze my face between now and then. And I won't... really! I did it a bit yesterday and goddamn was I annoyed with myself. No consequences though. Whew. So, with that settled--no squeezing! and I'm basically not allowed to look closely in mirrors anymore--the skin thing is just a race against time between the two fading, healing pink spots on my forehead and the arrival of Saturday. I actually think it's going to be fine.
I also finalized some more stuff like when to give the favors & napkins to the hotel. The master plan is looking pretty firm now. And in the last two days I've done tons and tons of gift-wrapping for all the people at the rehearsal dinner. I have sooooo many presents to give out... it's like Christmas... see, I'm trying to return some of all this niceness. Dunno if I'm succeeding in every single case, but the effort is very much there.
This is not my normal life!! I'm not doing tae kwon do, or ricochet robot, or caffeine, or, you know, that thing where you hang out for an hour and don't do much... no wonder I feel weird. Unsteady but okay. I just fixed another major bug at work. ArroooOOOoooOOOoooo! Yup, that was a victory howl. :)
