Today the inconveniently located therapist showed me some improvement in my hamstring, as he worked sideways across the muscle fibers. "Feel these three things?" He said as he dragged, twang twang twang, across the tightest parts. (Or maybe it was thud thud thud. Or ow, yow, that hurts!) Apparently this used to be one clump of fibers. "I can feel some differentiation now," he said.

Neat, if painful, that he's actually causing tangible changes to the fascia.
