It's just so amazing to me that you can get so much true positivity just from creating an artificial environment in which people consciously aim to be supportive, and to be enthusiastic and reward enthusiasm (faster, sometimes, than the world will get around to rewarding it).

So so so true my friend. A lot of the time it's easier in an artificial environment since there's an understanding that it will be well-received and reciprocated. It's really funny you posted this becuase last night J and I were talking about LJ and he mentioned adding you as a friend. He said how much he liked you and thought you had a lot in common. Anyway, I started talking about how amazing I thought you were, how much I respected you for all the cool things you do, for being so determined to fulfill your desires and live up to a better vision of yourself, etc. After that I was pondering just sending you a gushy email letting you know, but I wasn't sure if you'd want to hear it. How silly of me. Of course you should hear it.

Hugs and kisses girly, I think the world of you :) Thanks for posting about the class, sounds like one I should take. The jealousy comments were interesting too. I'm not sure what I think yet though...I've noticed similar thoughts in myself at times.
