I'm mostly just tired? Yes. I'm mostly just tired. But this week reads amusingly like last week. Lots of work, up until 1AM a lot of nights.

On Monday I found out that my boss's boss was quitting, maybe even up and quitting: his last day was yesterday. So, in the middle of trying to write promo support for one of my top folks who's going up (for promotion to my own level, tricky), I got to deal with extra 1:1 meetings. The old grandboss! The VP! The new grandboss! Then there was the all-hands! Bleh! This shakeup is comparatively minor, since the replacement is someone who was working closely with the grandboss already and there are no team-size entities moving around, BUT STILL. Didn't need that this week.

Acro was mostly meh, except for a shining moment on Wednesday when I middled a three-high with two people who hadn't ever done a three-high before. Totally nailed it: smooth up, safe down. The middle really is the glue. :)

Friday's handstand private made Pokemon very happy. "This is the best one in a long time", he said... oh, I don't know, I'm personally still a fan of last week's, but he's the coach. Anyway, I figured out how to feel something about stacking my ribcage while pressing, and we commuted that into one straddle-up to the canes (out of many tries, and still walking into the jump, mind you). I can't help thinking about the physics, and how heavy that cage o' bones must be for it to matter so much.

Best of all, perhaps, I've identified a week in which to take vacation: Oct 31 - Nov 4. No big plans, just little plans, but I'm open to ideas! What should I do?
