Nyeeeerrrrrggggghhhh.
Dec. 11th, 2003 02:39 pmI made myself a snowball, as perfect as could be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet and let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas and a pillow for its head,
Then last night it ran away-- but first, it wet the bed!
Cute (my mother sent it to me), but... it's raining on the snow. Slushball, anyone?
HLM and I are in the process of making an offer on the place we saw last night. We're offering the asking price, contingent on our satisfaction with the inspection & on cats being okay, and the offer is good for 24 hours, which means we should hear back tomorrow sometime. I was a good girl and faxed him my pre-approval letter and everything. However, I was a fat doofus and went to the company lunch, which meant I got back just before Mr. Realtor had to leave for his company holiday party. Argh! And apparently he and HLM worked out almost all the details without me, but they both felt hesitant to fax it to me for reading & approval when I wasn't there. (What!? Nooooo!!! I don't need my damn privacy protected, boys, I gave you the fax number in hopes that you'd actually use it...!) So now things are being delayed until his party is over, and I guess I'll be wallowing in frustration until then. Oh, and HLM isn't home either.
So, this sucks. But in general, I have felt much calmer/happier now that we've made a decision, and are at least trying something.
