Happy Solstice

Work is finally winding down. I had a very chill day today, complete with lunch with an old friend and and a massage. The massage therapist found a couple of places in my back and armpit where I have some nerves bound up with muscle in a surprisingly janky way... time to do some resting, it seems, or more regular bodywork for a while.
A few things are really good.
First, there was a thing on Monday that sent me into tears and panic the last time it happened, and did not this time. I don't know why it was easier, and maybe I don't entirely care.
Second, I like this FWB thing with Lion. We'd been hanging out a fair amount before the benefit part started, and I really hadn't realized how much energy I was expending on not flirting, not staring, not acting like a creep. Now I can just relax and like him. I just mean little things -- like, if we're having coffee, I can watch his hands on the cup without worrying about staring. It's just so much more relaxed.
Third, taking yesterday off work to hang withapfelsingail was OF COURSE the bomb. We went to the gym and two bookstores, and spoke of many things. Among these, how 2017 went for us. I was surprised to find some major victories lurking there, in a year I had viewed as pretty rocky overall. It's not over yet, but when it is, it won't have been all bad.
As the light returns: more of all of the above, please.
