I find it very hard to be around groups of people who are highly stressed, especially if they are people who I care about. I have conflicting "fix it!" and "flee from it!" desires, both of which are often unhelpful and it can spike my own anxiety. Also when someone in my household is up late I tend to stay up with them, partly to make sure they are OK.

I think I'm better at these things when I'm in other spaces - like, I can go over to a friend's place to help them out or something. But I like my home to be a calm and quiet place for me to re-center and recharge.
