So, looks like the Cambridge city hall will be opening its doors on midnight on May 17 to get a jump on accepting marriage applications from same-sex couples. Hmmm, does this put a damper on my plans to make up a sign saying YAY! and going there on the morning of the 17th to stand outside the door and grin?

And oh, Boston, do stand up to Mitt, if you can find a way.

I've never been so proud to live in Massachusetts. And never so sad to have voted for someone, speaking of Mitt Romney, but that's life. I've chosen to live here, with other people who aren't assholes, and I'm glad. Glad glad glad. I think that if this right is taken away it won't be done by the people of Mass.

I feel somewhat sappy today. I want to hug you all and set you on your feet if you're off them. I want to remind my bug and kitties how much they mean to me (hey, I could do that). Gay or straight, just watching us all fight so hard for happiness is getting to me today... I want to tell everyone in the world to not give up, that trying is what makes us human.

That's hilarious, I was thinking about doing it with a "Congratulations" sign. I think it's still doable the next day :)

Does anyone know of an organized rally/celebration around any of the city halls. I have no idea how that day is gonna work... but I have fears that a fair percentage of the activists will be on line that day... with assholes w/ signs shouting at them. I'd really like for it to be the case the we drown out the assholes!
