ice water and ocicats

Yeah, I'm an alien to my parents too. Unfortunately I did read up to that story last night, and the guy just sort of kept working away and eventually felt better. He did move back closer to his southern hick roots--not all the way back, but to work for a law firm in the South. He didn't really feel happy about his career until later, but that was the start of feeling better for him. I don't think his career path applies to me, but the internal class warfare still does.

I think I'll post about this again in a few days, like when I've finished the book.
