Entering the minefield...

Just to warn y'all, I'm heading into a busy fizzy week. My company uses Outlook a lot, which means I can SEE the obligations--the mostly one-time, random obligations that are all happening this week out of an apparent desire to build community--spreading blotchily to fill much more of the available time than usual. I also have plans for every evening through Thursday... mostly very nice ones, but ones that use up my evenings nonetheless.

So, if you don't hear from me, it's not because I'm depressed. Contrariwise... just living my life.

Today is my wedding anniversary, by the way. So you can guess who I'm going out with tonight. :)

In my quest for communities, I've pretty much dropped childfree for childfree_zone. I've also just discovered cooking... my, now that could get dangerous.

Yeah, childfree just seemed so bitter. I get as angry about idiot parents as the next person -- maybe more so, since I have to teach their children, but that kind of bitterness just doesn't sit right with me. I agree that people need to relax about the whole "you must have children to be a complete human being" thing, but being so angry about it really alienated me.

I agree. And the other (very ironic) thing is... well, unlike you I like not having many children in my life. Reading all those rants made me think and hear about children much more than I ever normally would--and only the bad stuff at that! C'mon people, let's talk about our CF lives if that's what we're living and that's what we're interested in, not about kids.
