You know the Java test I'm taking? Well, sun.com swears up and down that there are 61 questions to answer in 120 minutes, of which I need to get 52% right to pass.

The practice exam software I used last night claimed to simulate the real thing, but it gave me 90 minutes to answer 65 questions and demanded 80% to pass. Plus, it contained two typos! Did they do all that on purpose just to scare the living shit out of me? I mean, I know Halloween is supposed to be scary, but Jesus. That was just in poor taste. :(

The carefulness it takes to get through this test is somewhat beyond my natural levels. There are others who do much better. Which is probably why it's probably good for me and I should shut up, stop whining and go research whether there is, or is not, a limit on how deeply you can nest classes.

I give myself reasonable odds. But damned if I'm doing another useful thing next weekend. I neeeeeeed to slack at some point! (Call me sometime if you want to help me do that.)
