Woot! We are tree-enabled. When some of you see the tree next Saturday, think of me carrying it about a mile all by myself yesterday... and then think of me not going to the gym because I decided that counted as cardio and biceps, which is most of what I was going to do anyway. :)

Everyone please welcome my IRL friend apfelsingail... who apparently is a red belt now, Jesus. Don't get on her bad side. Anyway, apfel is cool and so is her journal--she being funny, and also a writerly type who blogs about books--so wander on over there and say hi if you feel social.

I've been picturing you carrying a nice sapling, complete with root ball, since reading this. It just occurred to me that you were talking about a Christmas tree, not a tree to plant outside. As strong as you are, I am slow. :-)
