Another flexitarian day yesterday--actually fully vegetarian this time! I sort of kept going out of curiosity, and had a wrap for lunch that involved cheese, olives and avocado (along with non-fatty veggies)... I actually kept thinking it had turkey in it. But it didn't. Heh. :) I admit that the cheez doodles (with side of Nutrigrain yogurt bar) I had for dinner probably isn't on anyone's list of good sources of nutrition... sigh... but that's what I get for being all stupid-dedicated and staying at work really late.

48 entire hours without eating ze flesh of ze innocent animals. This is definitely a record. It's true that I'm forming daydreams about the monstrous bacon cheeseburger I intend to eat on Friday, but the vegginess isn't treating me so badly either. It's kind of a fun experiment.

Why does this post have me daydreaming about lamb curry? Maybe because they're cute, fluffy, innocent animals, and they taste o! so good? :-)

I'm pretty sure I've gone that long without ze flesh of animals before ... back in college when I sustained myself on Ramen noodle for days on end.

I've done the veggie thing many times... the longest I went without consuming flesh was almost a year. It's good for you as long as you make sure you get enough protein (difficult for us nut allergy sufferers). Now I make about 4 meatless meals a week. Saves us money!
