Program too complicated to be compiled. Compilation ended. Reduce the complexity of the program and recompile, or lower the level of optimization and recompile.

Umkay then.

We have been treated all week to the spectacular delight of seeing a building demolished right outside our office windows. On Monday morning a crawler excavator strolled up and began chipping away at the bricks on the front of this building, bringing us all straight to the window to watch. Soon the front was gone and it was obvious the entire building was slated for demolition. The excavator is equipped with a claw, not the bucket shown in the pictures, and the dexterity of the operator has all of us in some amount of awe. He's so careful with pulling out joists, sorting metal and brick from wood, and generally doing things you wouldn't think would be possible with a claw so huge.

Of course, all this thought is entirely balanced by the primal pleasure of seeing huge chunks of building collapse. :) Is there anything more innocently fun than destruction, as an indicator of progress, in peacetime?

As well as being a great show, it provides the first form of sanctioned slacking off that I've really seen at the Frog so far. Nobody expects us to not watch. Our manager came in to find us all at the windows and he just joked about setting up a new timesheet category for us to charge time to... which is just not normal at the Frog. It's kind of a relief to see that it does happen.

That'd be fun to watch. I know that when I was working retail and I had to use the forklift, you have to be very tricky to bump things into place on the top racks sometimes.

Go Flexy. Go Flexy. Kickin' the AIX compiler's butt. Go Flexy.

Ok, so it doesn't really flow, but you get the idea. :-)
