I ran into yet another person from TKD at the yoga place today. It's getting less surprising every time that happens... as two mind/body sorta exercise places near Porter Square, I bet they've had a lot of crossover through the years. It just so happens that the only ones I know are the ones moving the same way as me at the same time.

Today's class was good in a bad way. We worked on kicking up into handstand (against the wall), and this is just a deucedly frustrating move for me. I've never done it AND no teacher has ever helped me into it. I've been in about 3 classes where I was almost the only one not helped in this way. Plus this class was led by a sub who spoke in the very confusing ways that some teachers do (think about softening your right ribs, and feeling your left thighbone just begin to float up toward your tailbone. Hello, woman? My skeleton is not made of jello, not, not!). And so, out of all this fury and frustration, when the next pose was a headstand I just angrily floated right up into it--first time I've ever done that in the middle of the floor in a class. Ha, I guess it's good to get angry. RAHR, I'll show what I think of you, I'll just go.up.side.down. >:D

My bug is back home, and we went to dinner to find there are new things on the menu at our usual restaurant... things change and they stay the same. I missed him! Already we've come up with an idea for a cool little software utility we could write together, and the cats seem happy and perky. Yep... all my base are belong to my little family. So I have more things to blog about, but I'm going to get offline and go be with them for a while.
