Well, yes and no. Fundies in general are also sort of "we're made in God's image and shouldn't mess too much with nature" type people. Though this is just the sort of time they'd conveniently forget about that.

Religion aside, I think the more people see gayness as intrinsic to who a person is, the more acceptance there's going to be.

Oh, I have no doubt in my mind that people would forget all about religion if they could pull the doctor aside and inquire if their son/daughter could be...*shifty eyes* 'fixed.'
