Crazy things happened at work today, both of them involving spooky people calling the company and knowing my name. The first one called Dan the Cat claiming that he was a party planner, HLM was planning a surprise party for me and asking for the names of coworkers who might like to be invited (and Dan the Cat actually tracked down my home number so he could talk to HLM and be 100% sure it was a fraud before telling me about it. He's a gentleman to the core... it's impressive.) The other one called a couple of people on a team I often work with, claiming to be from Colubrid HR and asking for the names of people sitting nearby. That person gave the name of an actual (but non-HR) Colubrid employee and claimed to have spoken with me -- which he hadn't.
Both were headhunters, of course, drawn to the acquisition like buzzards to a steaming pile of offal. My guess is that my personal website is just a little too Googlable regarding the names Colubrid and Politic Frog.
