Has anyone else noticed that the Gap's latest ad campaign is straight out of 1984?
Left Weave jeans: Go Left, Feel Right.
The New White Shirt: Original. Individual. (... but obviously mass-produced).
Riiiiiiiight...

Date: 2006-03-02 12:55 am (UTC)I assumed they must mean something by 'left weave', and I actually like the "Go left, feel right" thing because of the clever political pun. Definitely a 1884-ish juxtaposition of opposites though.
The white shirt campaign actually bothers me a lot more.
