The quiet fetus
Apr. 30th, 2003 01:09 pmMonday night was good. To my astonishment I had fun in TKD for the first time in ages... too bad it was fun because we were doing wheel kicks, which always kill me later... and then we went out to dinner with B-the-Ditcher (and her current bf) and played Hear Me Out, which was fun. I iced my legs but to no particular avail.
Since then I've been quiet because my legs keep getting worse and I've been busy debugging and I've got my period. It doesn't make me want to talk very much.
I did manage to leave a note taped by the doorbell at LLF's place last night, as I walked home trying to unkink my muscles a little. (The note says I'll go visit him on Sunday night.) I considered trying to up the odds of his getting the note by pressing the doorbell and running away, but then remembered that I'd probably pull something if I tried to run. So I touched the button, didn't press it, and walked away. Slowly. My new used copy of Bodymakers was in the mail so I read that for a while... it's good but very academic. I've learned more about the history of feminism than the history of women's bodybuilding, so far.
