The good: tonight was the final Dale Carnegie class... yeah, graduation. I brought HLM. I also spent the day in a panic over making the poster for it, which I hadn't procured the right stencils for yesterday and had to run back to Pearl for, and took the afternoon off to make, and then it ended up being really simple and I could have saved at least $20 on materials if I'd known what I was going to do in the first place. But my speech about the class and my vision must have gone okay, because I won another book for it. That was a nice upbeat way to end the whole thing. :)
The bad: I came home to a very worrisome letter from kfb's mother. ( Goodie, I was just thinking I needed more drama in my life... )
The ugly: one of the 3 hours I spent at work today was spent listening to the CEO talking about company restructuring. Very little changed, really... I did kinda get a promotion (really, my rank split and I fell into the upper half of the split) but one of the things I was most hoping would happen, didn't. Oh well, head back down, keep focusing on how happy I truly am to be back in Java world.
