Waiting for Godot
Feb. 26th, 2004 01:46 pmThe table I've been working on all week... is... displaying data! The rows displaying important data are even turning red and yellow as appropriate. Ees so pretty.
I have a ( question about sports bras for you ladies ).
Godot was supposed to arrive today. Godot the couch, that is, thus yclept because we've been waiting so long for it. But, guess what? Godot does not fit up the stairs, and must be taken away and disassembled and brought back... and this apparently takes 7-12 business days! Whatever happened to the idea of the delivery guys carrying screwdrivers in their back pockets and going at it?
The other theoretical arrivals of the day are M and whiplash boy, who are driving down Alabama-wards and passing through here. I have the usual embarrassing 10% of me that remembers I really wanted to do federal taxes tonight... but I know those thoughts will be faint memories when I actually see M. And at least she should fit up the stairs.
