Weekend highlights
Jul. 25th, 2004 10:42 pm#1: Saturday we spent something like $1400 at the Expo Design Center, and all we walked out with was a 2" by 2" sample square of moss colored Corian. Yow. Needless to say, we fondled that Corian all the way home and now have it on display in our kitchen. I'm happy though... we got our vanity ordered, and all the slate tile for the floor. That's progress.
#2: Sunday I squatted... 120 lbs. I am soooo close to my goal now. I'll probably hold at this weight for another week, then slide on up that final 5 lbs and think about going higher.
#3: Both days: sex. After not having it since, like, the weekend before. Suddenly that whole wife-husband thing feels better... duh. :)
I also finished A Storm of Swords--good! Much happening... many weddings, and many people exsanguinating and dying. (Some of the dying even happened at the weddings.) I just may have to read book 4 of the series when it comes out next month in hardcover. Unfortunately, I suspect all this reading about dying had a bit to do with how I didn't do any reading toward my Java certification. Sigh, how sucky I have been at continuing with that outside the supporting walls of DSB. Must do better.
