To dry out a cell phone that got wet
Dec. 2nd, 2004 07:29 am1) Take out the battery to help the rest of the phone dry out faster.
2) Put it (the phone) on top of your monitor or near the exhaust fan of your CPU. The hot, dry air will help significantly.
I was at the point of shopping for new phones yesterday when Trick #2 finally revived my old one, a day and a half after it got wet. Yay for my officemates who know these things!
