To dry out a cell phone that got wet

2) Put it (the phone) on top of your monitor or near the exhaust fan of your CPU. The hot, dry air will help significantly.
I was at the point of shopping for new phones yesterday when Trick #2 finally revived my old one, a day and a half after it got wet. Yay for my officemates who know these things!
