Awesome yoga class tonight. The May pose of the month is 'foot behind the head' pose, which (and I can see how you would think this) might evoke pictures of me with my foot behind my head... but what it really means is that I'll be working on hip openers while making involuntary faces and little grunty noises. So tonight we did some, all of which I desperately needed, and one particular stretch seemed to target exactly the crappy no-name muscle in my right leg that has always hated me and doesn't stretch. I got you now, little thing. >:)
Work sucked, because I seem to have broken the product in mysterious ways and I couldn't even prove it was me or get a clue before I had to leave. :( So I reverted all my changes, and we'll just have to see how the overnight build goes. Sigggghhhh... On the bright side, tomorrow I get to listen to a one-hour talk on BOGOs, and basically I just like how it sounds to say BOGO BOGO BOGO. ( Want to know what a BOGO is? )
And just so you have something else to click on, here's a pretty good tutorial on moonwalking. I think keeping the moving heel down is the real trick. The feel of it reminds me of things I had to do in tango class, or skating...
