Oct. 12th, 2005 09:48 pma) For the last two days in a row I caught the bus with excellent timing. The first day the MBTA was on holiday schedule and I didn't know it; the next day I had overslept and didn't realize my watch was on upside down. Odd, I hardly ever manage to catch that bus. Rational bus-catching, I here foreswear thee.
b) People whine a lot about bachelorette parties. I assume it's because people don't realize at first that yes, the extra party does mean one more gift, even though you're already in for a wedding gift. But I'm planning the cheapest bachelorette party I will ever have been to, and people are still whining (over the cost of a DVD). Apparently the whine level doesn't scale with cost.
c) I feel functional again, thanks to a couple of basic yoga classes. I'm getting tons better at Yogi Burning Quad Pose (no, not its real name). Yay.
d) Took a quick peek at overheardinnewyork.com earlier today on someone's spywareless Linux box. At the time, the top quote was ...And then I nutted all over her face, but like, not in a demeaning way. So I've decided that my new one-liner is "but like, not in a demeaning way." I hereby state my intention to tack that onto the end of, like, everything. But not in a demeaning way.
