Continuing...

I'm still around... yes, I'm quiet, I don't want to disturb the balance of the universe too much. As first round interviews become second round interviews at the large, famous search company, and as Excedrin tells me they have no engineering positions open, and I say "are you sure? cuz I was really excited about you" and they call me back the next day saying maybe they DO have an opening... as even my current job begins to perk up and things look like they might break in my direction, I'm basically just holding my breath.

Also studying. I put an eye pillow over my face last night and had heisenbug read to me from CLR about red-black trees and how they cleverly rebalance themselves in O (log n) time. It was actually quite nice. I wonder if I could pay someone to do that for me every night.

If I don't go to Maya Tulum this January, there's a new IAP course at MIT called Physical Intelligence that I would love to take. It's taught by the gymnastics coach I'm taking lessons from, and look at these class descriptions! How fun is that? I'm kicking around the idea of enrolling as a special student at MIT at some point, but probably won't have the time and inclination to get started this fall, and it's not clear to me that the per-semester fees cover the January classes. Hmm.. I may just ask Moses if I can unofficially just show up. :)
