Ducks in a row
May. 31st, 2010 11:06 pmToday I ended many years of procrastination in 20 minutes; after some research last night, I signed up for online backup of a bunch of my documents through SOS online backup. I found the setup very intuitive, and the price to be completely reasonable (I guess it's higher than that of some of its competitors, but $40/year? big deal). And suddenly it doesn't matter quite so much if this computer dies. Ahhhhhhhh. :D
Edited to add: there is now a 2GB backup plan available for $19.95/year.
This three-day weekend was lovely, and badly needed. Before turning to the computer's needs I finished going through my physical stuff -- and by that I mean I sorted through the last two shelf-fuls that I hadn't been through yet this year. I've been through ALL my stuff and now I know what I own. There are no never-unpacked boxes. With the exception of that one folder labeled "Memories" and not looked into very often, I won't be surprised anymore by lurking items, or forgotten papers loaded with memories.

heisenbug isn't sure I should get rid of my dresses. But kinda I want to...!
