Good, scary and scary
Jun. 2nd, 2010 10:31 pmBest moment of the day yesterday: walking through the stacks at the Boston Public Library. It was brief, but oh so good. I'm glad I checked out a book... it means I have to go back in 3 weeks.
Scariest thing seen all day yesterday: a little girl pretending to pull the fingers off a woman (her mother?) who was with her. It was clearly a game: "Oh no! You took all my fingers? But how am I going to hold onto the bar?" The little girl's response was to grin and pretend to pull all the fingers off the other hand. God it was fucking creepy. *shudder*
Scariest moment of the day today: our human tower fell for the first time, and that's a LOT of people falling on each other. A lot of people who are, however, okay.
