This weekend a lot of people were at my house doing the 48 Hour Film Project, notably ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
heisenbug and fraterrisus, etc. Their collective jitters were pretty extreme and I spent a lot of time avoiding them for that reason, starting with a dinner with Lion on Friday night when I'm always out with the bug. So weird. He had fun taking me to a restaurant that Lioness doesn't like, and I got to try a new place, and I had no complaints (except for losing a piece of my boot. I'll need to get that fixed).
The jitters on Friday night, with the dialog written but no filming done, were so palpable that I didn't sleep well myself; Saturday morning I was up early, did a bit of acro for a bit part in the film, then worked out and took off for Middlesex Fells with Quarte.
It was weird to see Quarte for such a long time, after not seeing him since the night in December when I basically dumped him. But nice. We bought picnic food and walked for a while in the Fells, and the temperature was perfect and there were no spiderwebs or biting insects. We stopped and set up a hammock and the picnic, ate, then hung out for a long time just walking on logs and snuggling in the hammock. It was all ridiculously pleasant -- I'm fine being snuggle-friends and I guess he's not getting enough snuggles. So just a really long, lazy, comfortable, outdoorsy afternoon. We even saw a goose mama standing over her five eggs. He said I didn't hurt him, last fall, and that was good to hear.
This all chilled me out enough to sleep well, even with the film crew jittering away at max (heisenbug slept for like an hour that night). Sunday I was planning to work and then do open studio, but Lion chatted me and I went over there to make omelets. I don't really love being easily summoned, but I am likely to prioritize a maybe-scarce resource... so, anyway, that turned into making out on his couch and getting very frustrated. The rules say that there are no sexytimes at his place. After that I pretty much wanted to just look at porn all day, but instead I worked, and went to the gym to take video for a possible application to a circus summer program, and worked some more.
Finally rounded out the weekend with anorwoodbridge date, while the video was being taken across town to its final destination, and that took the edge off the WANT TO THINK ABOUT SEX FOREVER and we had good talks too. Got home to find the bug sound asleep, with the one remaining crew member sitting on my couch looking kind of drugged and relieved.
