I read a long, argumentative thread somewhere about how the guy who did this used an emulator and pieced the levels together until he got the perfect movie. Doesn't matter to me--the movie itself just becomes one more piece of the accomplishment.

It's probably too much information to admit that I started finding this vaguely erotic after a while... nothing special about Mario, just the skill and precision of it, and the patience/determination it obviously takes to get that good.

And you know, the only issue I have with it is the whistle thing. I'm pretty sure the whistles only warp you to the next level--so, he would have warped to the 2nd tier after the 2nd whistle instead of the 3rd.

But it's cool all the same :)

No, the warp whistle part is totally legit. If you use the second warp whistle while in the warp zone, it always takes you to level 8. Sarah and I discovered that WAY back in the day... but I never wanted to do it because those levels are so hard and frustrating. :)
