I stood up from a backbend twice tonight. Pretty symmetrically even. It only happens if I have my feet 2' apart, and toes turned out, which I think relegates me to purgatory in some circles, but *shrug*.

I also just CHOMPED down on my inner lip. Oh the nerve signals! Yes. Damage. I understand.

the only thing that bugs me is that this skill (as it is) will not help me with front walkovers at all. or so I feel. it's probably a good skill to practice just on its own as a strength/balance move anyway... it has something in common with dropping back from camel pose until my head touches the floor, then slowly moving back up.
