Random personal drivel
Sep. 13th, 2006 07:36 am- I ate really well today (note: written yesterday), so why do I feel all pudgy?
I've always sort of wanted to post what I eat in a day, and this seems like a good day for it since I was extra good...
orange juice
1/2 cup muesli in 1 cup 2% milk
1 whole-grain english muffin with fake butter spread
1 all-vegetable burrito consisting of: tortilla, cheese, 2 kinds of beans, grilled squash, salsa, guacamole
1 bite of deli turkey
1 package of Heart Thrives
1/2 can split pea and ham soup
1 whole-grain wrap containing hummus, avocado, tomato and lettuce mix - Two more people at Colubrid announced today that they're quitting -- one was high up in the organization and one was not. Ha ha... stupid Silver Fox for not wanting to announce TBC's leaving yet, because he wanted to wait for things to "settle down". That's what you get, foxie, for trying to withhold information. Don't you know that people always know things, anyway?
- Pandora.com really wants me to buy Zzyzx by Zeromancer.
- It is my third (wedding) anniversary with
heisenbug. Yay! - Lastly, today's xkcd is brilliant. I have at least a couple of coworkers who read it, now, so I'll see if I can get this to catch on around work. :)

Date: 2006-09-14 12:43 pm (UTC)TBC and I spent a lot of yesterday commenting each other out. TBC also noticed that since it's a left-handed gesture, the right hand is free for other gestures. Handy!
I'm home sick today. I think the cold medicine is about to take me out, but maybe I'll give you a call later. Maybe I'm still well enough to see a friend, if that friend wants to be seen of course. (Then again maybe I have what Alan has, in which case I'm about to be nonfunctional for 72 hours...we'll see when I next wake up).

Nay on the sickness - definitely feel free to give a call. Actually, I have been meaning to call you to see if you're interested in doing sushi tomorrow...but if you're sick I think we can guess that's a big ole NO.
