Hello floor
Nov. 5th, 2006 08:03 pmToday I sort of touched down on my left splits. I say sort of because I was using two stretching mats (1/2 inch thick?), and where I touched down they were overlapping. I doubt I compressed the foam enough that I would've touched down on a hard surface. Still, it's a personal record, and a half-inch cheat isn't much, and I want to count it as some kind of victory! Unexpected at that.
I've been doing some reading and I also really want some parallettes now.

Date: 2006-11-06 05:33 pm (UTC)I've thought about parallettes too b/c they are the only way I can do pushups with my wrist right now. I currently just use hexagonal dumbbells though, which works fine for pushups. It wouldn't work as well for working up to v-sits and the various planches though, both because of stability and height. I assume heisenbug has the requisite woodworking tools for making this? (BTW, I just noticed heisenbug has the same initials as hiddenbear. Hereafter he shall be abbreviated hsb, versus hb.)
