So today I started crying at 12:00 noon and didn't really stop until 2:30. First time I've cried at this job -- it took two and a half years, much longer than at my last place.

Still, what am I supposed to charge that to? General overhead?

I think it's a fine post. :) Might have been a little cleaner to use a LiveJournal poll, but so many people have already voted that I didn't feel comfortable modifying that.

I have a different problem with the communities, which is that the advanced folks aren't giving much advice on c0ntortion either! And nobody much is posting on bendypeople despite the steady flow of incoming members. *shrug*

I agree... re: really advanced people just using the c0ntortion community to show off their stuff. But I'm not exactly sure what to do about that. I guess there's gonna be that type of person wherever you go, especially with something as impressive as contortion.

Personally, I like the mood over at bendypeople much better, but c0ntortion is so much more well established....

it seems people want 'bendypeople' to stay anyhow....

Oh yeah, I've done the crying-at-work routine. At my last job I broke down in front of my boss, who was Pakistani and very sweet, and it threw him into an utter panic, poor guy.

Is the job just very stressful? Maybe it's a sign that that place is just not working for you? (it was for me)
