Why are you reading this?
Jul. 11th, 2003 11:44 amMy life is boring as fuck compared to
bluechromis'... although there is at least an intern here with a crush on me, as indeed there is one most summers. I'm being nice to this year's, because he isn't annoying about it. I think HLM might like me too.
On yesterday's advice, I did decide to split a bottle of stuff that has glutamine and creatine in it with P-boy after talking to him about it for a while, yesterday... and got to pay him back using PayPal, so it didn't even come out of my normal budget. Looking forward to being slightly bigger and a lot less sore, if it works. Also, speaking of products, I found out that Coraline is coming out in paperback on August 1st... okay... so I'll continue to be deprived, but not for too much longer.
Forgot to mention: apparently we're hiring another permanent employee, the first new girl software engineer in a really long time. She's an algorithm chick--and I don't know any algorithm stuff. I feel faintly threatened, even though I'm the one who's been here for four years and has fingers in all the big internal products. The human psyche is a silly thing.

no glutamine as far as I can see
Date: 2003-07-11 09:43 am (UTC)If you want more info about the differences, I'll copy some stuff from "Prescription for Natural Healing" on both products, later in the day when I get time.
*groan*
Date: 2003-07-11 10:06 am (UTC)I would be curious about the differences--don't go terribly far out of your way if you're busy though. I can do some research now that I know there's a difference.
don't know if you still want it...
Date: 2003-07-13 02:18 pm (UTC)part 1 (http://www.webfaery.com/glutamine1.pdf) and part 2 (http://www.webfaery.com/glutamine2.pdf)
I'm sure you scare her more than she scares you...
Date: 2003-07-11 10:00 am (UTC)I was going to say the same thing as webfaery, but she's too quick, so I'll leave you two to it.
Wait just a minute...
Date: 2003-07-11 10:27 am (UTC)All the other ingredients are listed as being the same, but netrition groups them differently. So now we're thinking the mistake is due to some intern translating between the two forms. I would tend to trust EAS's page a bit more when it comes to the ingredients, since they are the manufacturer, after all...
Netrition.com has earned themselves a nasty letter from me, though.

Date: 2003-07-11 11:52 am (UTC)I do also take glutamine separately, and won't be continuing with the betagen when I finish it. I have found no advantage at all to taking creatine. It doesn't seem to help me. Some women do complain of bloating when they take creatine. I didn't experience that either.
The glutamine definitely aids in recovery.
Nay my friend.
Date: 2003-07-13 09:42 pm (UTC)Different and interesting!
I think you already knew that is how I feel, but there it is for posterity.
