flexagonYesterday was doomsday for my favorite pair of old, old jeans (which I was wearing under a tunic-length sweater so that the small, worn-through holes on the hip wouldn't show). Halfway through the afternoon the ass ripped from the top of the pocket to the bottom of my ass-cheek. Mercifully, it didn't show at all (yay tunic-length sweater!) and was fine. Felt pretty weird though, and I double-checked the length of the sweater at least 5 times to make SURE it didn't show.
Today I wore my favorite pair of old, but not ancient, green cargo pants. These had gotten a thin spot in the ass a while ago, when I patched them with double-sided iron-on stuff and extra linen taken from the inside of the cargo pockets. It looked fine. But halfway through the afternoon, RRRRRIPPPPP! across the bottom of my left cheek. Mercifully, I had a pair of black leggings with me that I'd brought for gymnastics tonight, so I put those on underneath and just ignored it for the rest of the day.
I really don't know what I'll wear tomorrow. If this keeps up I'll be running out of casual pants soon. :o
