Other people have more to say than I do

Newsmap is pretty cool, and definitely nicer to look at than the CNN site.
Google's hot trends of today (from the trends lab) are also a nice way of seeing what's on the world's mind today. (Really though, people, "2008 men of mortuaries calendar"?)
"I was in paradise but cursed with the knowledge that I didn’t deserve it" -- I have no idea what that guy is talking about. Move along.
Potentially dangerous listing of the Best Blogs of 2006. May be triggering to those who are addicted to websurfing. Go easy.
Lastly, there's some pretty amazing internet drama over at meganhaditcoming.blogspot.com. Real or fake, this is your chance to think deep thoughts about life, death, bullying, youth and causality while seeing someone called every name under the sun (including torturer -- I mean, wow).

Date: 2007-12-06 03:12 am (UTC)I present the following:
1. I posted anonymously, stating that impersonating another person is a violation of Blogger policy (giving the link) and saying that there's no proof of violation. My comment disappeared quickly. Why would the real Lori do that?
2. I saw other comments saying that comments with any sort of "proof" that the blog was a hoax were also disappearing.
3. There's an article online in a St. Louis paper saying that a sheriff's office is investigating the blog.
So, I guess it's probably fake. Should be interesting to watch it play out. And another thing? Goddamn am I glad they didn't have MySpace yet when I was a teenager.
