Such a fresh, hopeful night. I don't want to lose the feeling of walking home in the wind and the soft rain... it smells so fresh outside tonight, like anything could happen. Someone was actually complaining in my direction about the weather earlier, and I was wishing it were sunny for her, but now I am selfishly taking that sentiment back.

(It looks like tomorrow's going to be soft and rainy too, even warmer than today, and that's good because I'm going to be sleepy. Rain and coffee... mmmmhmmmm.)

I totally share your sentiment! Though I did not have a chance to walk for any great length in the Great Outdoors yesterday, what little I did experience put me in a good mood. The smell of spring is everywhere! And despite the fact that it was rain, it wasn't a winter rain. *sigh*

I know EXACTLY the feeling/smell you're talking about! We haven't gotten any of that yet here in Chicago--still too cold--but I know it's coming soon. Spring is my favorite season, mostly for the smells!
