Arrange to take Friday off. Hop on a plane Thursday night and fly down to visit [livejournal.com profile] apfelsingail. On the way, knit lace, with the fierce concentration of someone who is desperately trying not to smack the screaming toddler in the seat next to her. (Seriously, this is good. That lace will have ZERO mistakes.)

The next day, completely overload your system with awesome things that require separate posts.

Saturday, recuperate by essentially not moving from the aerobed until late afternoon. It is okay to have food and play Set and Pass the Pigs. It is okay to read bits of a few different books. Read bits of The Ethical Slut, decide once again that you have about 1/10th the energy required for that. Call home and say hi to your bug. Give and receive presents. Talk about everything under the sun. Go and see WALL-E, go awwwwwww, be amazed at how Disney didn't tone down the dark parts of the message.

Sleep. Go home to kitty. This time, sit next to a quiet teenage boy reading Ender's Game and his older sister reading Ishmael; feel old and well-read. Finish reading Axis.

There are too many moving parts to the poly life for me. I don't share very well.

I thought WALL-E was wonderful. An impressive balance of jaw-droppingly cute and having an actual message. I don't think most of the people in my theater got it, though, given the amount of trash from junk food I saw everywhere when I left. =/
