One weekend, heavy on the airplanes

I spent Saturday in Montana, where say_shazam was getting married. Our hotel room was amusingly ghetto (though it was right downtown, as advertised), and four out of our four flights were over an hour late, and I forgot my toothbrush -- but, mission accomplished.
say_shazam has a husband, and, clearly, she's also found her clan... her crazy, politico-outdoorsy, everyone-has-a-great-singing-voice, mountain-and-river-loving clan. Most of them apparently met her while she was doing various wonderful and professional things, and they were too... which made me feel a tiny bit shy. Most of my
say_shazam memories are more about playing in the dirt, playing Nintendo, letting her curl my hair (ow), and wondering out loud what it would feel like to have breasts. It's a fine thing though. What were we going to do, grow up the same?
20 years also changes a lot when it comes to who you find scary(or not), who's mean to you (or not), who sits down next to you and says "at least you got out of fucking Kalispell" with unmistakable sincerity.
So, that was that. Montana is much more bearable with heisenbug there to skulk around with. We helped with setting place settings, we skulked down by a river and piled up rocks, we skulked around in the dark when the dancing got scary. I bought some new earrings I really like, plus ordering these Crocs online after finding them (but not my size) in an airport. Then I spent yesterday stumbling around on 4 hrs of sleep, wishing for a ton of energy, settling for at least having gone through my email. Would've posted this yesterday, but I was typing up the post in gmail (where there's autosave) when gmail went down. Whups. Also, poor gmail team.
