"What a surprise, I am not voting for McCain either."
"Well, don't tell your dad."
"He's not voting for McCain."
"You're kidding."
"Nope."
"Wow."

My father is probably still voting for McCain, but on the phone a week or so ago (right after the Powell endorsement) he said, "So, it looks like your guy is going to win." Admitting defeat is probably as close as he can come to switching teams, at this point. Of course, he's no where near a swing state.

My single-issue (gun control) father isn't even voting for McCain. I don't think he's ever voted Democrat.
