I am going to try for 8 things you may not know about me.

1. Put-together, pretty, mature teenage girls scare me. I'm not scared of them when they're in their early 20s, but show me a well-adjusted 16-year-old and I go back to feeling AWKWARD.
2. It bugs me the way overweight people continue to steal words from the English language to describe themselves. It is okay to be overweight but please do not describe yourself as "fluffy". I do sort of like the new word "metabo" that's going around in Japan, though...
3. I own an autographed printout of this comic -- and I think that makes me cool. (It does, in some circles.)
4. I can do almost any kind of constrained writing. Once I had to put in writing something I didn't agree with, and I wrote it so that the first letter of each sentence said "I say this under duress", backwards. Ever since, I've fantasized about somehow testifying about that in court, or at least sending email encouraging the original miscreants to look up my old personnel file and find the coded message.
5. I have a whole category of dreams in which I'm squeezing my skin, and out comes, not just a tiny blackhead, but kernels of corn, or Tylenol gelcaps, or other strange things.
6. I wouldn't really mind the nationalization of our banking system. Currency is government business. On the same topic though, the national debt squicks me right the hell out.
7. I'd love to pierce Nala's ear and give her a rakish gold ring or three. I know it would be wrong but I still might do it in Photoshop.
8. When people ask if I ever regret getting sterilized, I always wish I had had a moment or two of regret... it would sound more human and believeable. But the truth is: no, never once.

It's "curvy" that is a bit annoying to me. Some large people are curvy. Some are not. Some small people are curvy. Some are not. I have a heck of a time trying to track down clothes that fit me, because I need clothes in small sizes for a curvy person and "curvy" seems to have been redefined.
