Reception, etc

flexagonWell, that's kind of cool, our $50/person at the reception is going to stretch a fair bit further than I thought it was going to. There will be a wine and beer bar, which I wasn't expecting--happy with that one, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
bluechromis? Yes you are. :) And a champagne toast, and cheese & crackers & fruit and about five hot appetizers to be carried around. Then 2/3 of the way through, we get mini fruit tarts and coffee. This makes me happy, yes, all of it, especially being sure that we have more than enough slinkies. The final guest count is 46.
Remembered that my hair is a pain in the ass to curl--B did it last night and it took ages and didn't come out right. Theoretically we're trying the whole thing again with hot rollers and some kind of gel, but I wonder how offended B would be if I just left it straight. I may have to try doing full makeup and non-curled hair to see how it looks.
One more thing that's good but I can't imagine why you'd want to read it: my skin is healing all up! Scabs forming and getting ready to peel and I'm leaving them the hell alone. Take that, you horrible airplane. I credit the vitamin E oil, and maybe the lavender oil too... and I've been collecting advice/ideas on how to deal with the plane next time. Definitely feeling better about it though, for now.
Now, if only I weren't such a chickenshit about emailing the photographer. I've got to figure out what's up. But, maybe tomorrow? Cuz see, I've also got to get work done, and that's one thing that basically didn't happen yesterday. Tonight is the start of that Dale Carnegie class, yes, finally, so I can't work late...
