Building a human tower on Sunday

Our human tower performance has finally come and gone. I'm clearly visible in this video, on the right side of the tower. You can see me step up to the second level and stay there as the third layer climbs up, raises its collective right hand triumphantly, and climbs down. :)
We did this build four times, along with a few other acrobatic arrangements for which pictures haven't surfaced yet. THREE of those times, it felt super solid. All four of those times, I was surprised to remember how very good it feels to have people applaud... I hadn't performed anything for an audience in a long time.

Date: 2010-07-02 11:03 am (UTC)Our last circus class is this coming week. I'm getting wistful already. However, there are private lessons coming up, too. :)
Are you guys performing anywhere else? I'd love to see you guys in action up close and personal-like!

Date: 2010-07-02 11:54 am (UTC)Maybe, if the people who were "in charge" line up another gig, but nothing's for sure. It was fun, but pretty disruptive for me in terms of its rehearsals crowding out other things, so I'm not even sure what I'm hoping for on that front.
If we DO perform again I'll surely tell you about it. :)
