Homecoming, new computer

When I come home from a trip I don't exactly want to unpack.
"Unpack" is such a gentle word, after all. I want to forcefully obliterate all traces of the horrible events that took me away for a while.
Some happy work news that is really just finance news: I hit my 3-year anniversary at Zillian last Friday, and our earnings report on Thursday made the stock price jump just in time for to me sell some newly vested stock when the window opens tomorrow. At 9AM, not that I'm counting down or anything. So today I ordered a new computer (as I was planning to do whether the stock went up or not). I'd mostly settled on this one earlier this year, after getting all excited that fanless computers existed that had enough horsepower to be a reasonable desktop. Setting it up will take time, but I'll be pleased to be rid of the noisy five-year-old Dell I'm using now.
It's kind of cyberpunk-looking, don't you think? And so tiny. And since I rarely will have a CD in the drive, the only moving part that will make noise is the 2.5" hard drive.
