Interpersonal, good new music discovery
Dec. 28th, 2011 11:12 pmAfter acro class, the sweet visiting girl I had worked with says she'll friend me on Facebook. I'm very interpersonal, she says, so I like to keep my contacts up to date.
Interpersonal. I like that. If only it described me, I'd totally steal that phrase for later use. :-)
Also, music alert. If you like Tori Amos, you apparently need to check out Charlotte Martin. I listened to her album Test-Drive Songs today, and it ROCKED. Here's the first song from the album -- seriously, take the 3 minutes.
I am not your pretty thing, I am not your pretty thing,
I am not your pretty thing, or seventeen or prom queen anymore.

Of course, maybe she just meant "oriented toward the interpersonal aspects of life", or maybe I'm spending way too much time analyzing what was, after all, just one sentence. But sometimes maybe it's okay to look for poetry in random places, too. :-)
