Just called Candela about getting a facial late in the week, and noticed that under their list of 'skincare' services they list a Makeup Lesson for $65. Learn color and technique for application from our expert staff. Hmmm, that would be an interesting thing to do sometime when I'm feeling well-moneyed and girly, maybe with a friend. Would you be interested, bluechromis?

(I fear my "T minus n days" countdown suddenly. I mean, five? Really now, that's just ridiculous.)

No no no....no facials right before the wedding! A common response to a facial is to break out...then it gets better, but it's not a risk to take! Anything closer than a week or so is risky I've heard.

I might be interested in the class...$65 sounds like a lot though, lemme think about it :)

but I've never had it happen. I'm two for two on staying pretty good for at least a few days, so if anything doing it at the very last moment seems safer.

Good chance I can't get a Candela appointment on such short notice anyway... we'll see. :)
