flexagonAs of today, I have a direct report -- which is to say, I'm a manager. I am somebody's boss. In three months I'll have more.
It was a 12-hour day and it felt soooo much longer because of the head explodey. I talked to HR a bunch, and moved my desk (again) and figured out temporary team seating. Honestly, 90% of this whole management thing so far is about seating.
(I'm going to have to make a non-Zillian group on LJ soon, so that I can rant a bit without ratting out my peeps to anyone. It was one thing when I was a TL, but now it would feel really wrong.)
